Recently Holiday Hills Golf Course created a new position in its organization. As of the '09 season Lance Munden, former Head Professional, has been promoted to the position of Director of Golf and is now supervisor of the Golf Course as well as the Pro Shop. With this new responsibility, Lance has hired Toby Burkhart as the Golf Course Superintendent and Ken Kempter as the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

"Toby and Ken are exactly what this course needs," reports Lance. Together, Toby and Ken have worked as a team for over 6 years. They first worked together in Kansas City at Leawood South Country Club. Toby then was hired on as the Superintendent in 2000 at Top of the Rock in Branson, MO and brought Ken down as his Assistant. With the new development of a golf course in Branson called Murder Rock, Toby was hired on in '06 as the Superintendent for their "Grow In" process. Once that process was finished Toby then went over to Stone Bridge and worked as an Assistant Super at Ledge Stone Country Club.

With the objective to strive for immaculate conditions and to become the best maintained course in Branson, Lance found that Toby had the same motivations and objectives as himself. "It's amazing how things work out sometimes," states Lance. "Toby has fantastic credentials and I know his work ethics and talents will mold this course to its full potential."
